OES personnel have conducted air quality dispersion modeling analyses throughout the United States, Middle East, and Africa for both private and public sector clients. These projects have varied from straightforward permitting projects (e.g., complying with state/Federal environmental regulations in the U.S. and country-specific regulations and/or Equator Principles for overseas projects) to conducting Strategic Environmental Assessments of entire cities being constructed.
In addition, OES personnel have testified on air modeling issues, ranging from the suitability of different models as they apply to certain situations to using modeling to help substantiate/contradict certain claims.
OES is proficient with AERMOD and CALPUFF, and regularly attends EPA conferences to stay abreast of the latest developments in the air dispersion modeling world. We have taught dispersion modeling classes to various groups both in the U.S. and abroad, with these classes ranging from detailed technical sessions to an overview of modeling for a non-technical audience.
